Dr. Jane Piselli didn't grow up feeling like the education system was built with them in mind — and that experience shaped a career spent on the other side of the problem, helping schools become places where every kind of learner belongs.

We support early childhood and K–8 educators in creating inclusive, neuroaffirming, and developmentally grounded learning environments—both indoors and out. Rooted in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), disability justice, and outdoor pedagogy, our services include program evaluation, inclusive curriculum design, professional development, and evidence-based coaching.

Founded by Dr. Jane Piselli, a special education scholar with expertise in UDL and nature-based inclusion for neurodivergent children, Human First Teaching Studio is dedicated to transforming educational systems by centering the full humanity of children and the educators who guide them.

We believe every child deserves to learn in a space designed for belonging, equity, and meaningful participation.
